This Giving Tuesday and year-end, help the CADR Foundation raise the standard for teen driver education.
The Center for Advanced Driving and Research Foundation (CADR Foundation) is a research organization dedicated to developing and providing educational resources and programs for teenage drivers and their parents.
We exist to change the way families and teenagers in America prepare for the responsibility of driving.
Teenage driving crashes remain a serious leading cause of death in teens in the United States, and simply passing a test and gaining experience cannot provide all the skills novice drivers need to drive safely. Properly preparign teens requires crash prevention and mindset education, car control training, and personal skill development.
How We’re Making a Difference
Through our strategic alliance with partners like Teen Driving Solutions School, CADR Foundation advocates for higher standards of education for teenage licensing.
Our programs help parents and teens navigate the learning-to-drive process and build the mindset and skillset required for safe, responsible driving. We are working to:
– Educate parents on their role in preparing teens for the responsibility of driving.
– Develop safer drivers through education focused on mindset, decision-making and crash prevention.
– Advance research to better understand teen driving habits and evaluate the impact of educational programs.
– Build partnerships with hands-on driving schools to expand access to driver education resources.
Your support will help us develop these resources, advance our research and prepare new initiatives, including a planned annual impact study and a parent-focused pilot program in early 2027.
